We’ve finally gotten our first look at Falk Hentschel and Ciara Renee as Hawkman and Hawkgirl in DC’s upcoming crossover series Legends of Tomorrow, and they look fantastic.
From the initial trailer released back in May, we only got a very brief glimpse and mention of Hawkgirl, and no mention of Hawkman. Now we see them in all their glory.
The pair are set to make their first appearance on Arrow and The Flash before the premiere of Legends of Tomorrow.
For those unfamiliar with the characters, Hawkman, aka Carter Hall, is the latest reincarnation of an ancient Egyptian Prince, who is fated to be reborn throughout time along with his soulmate, whose newest reincarnation is Kendra Saunders. The pair are able to access the powers of the Egyptian Hawk God, Horus.
In the upcoming show, Saunders will just be learning that she has been reincarnated over and over again throughout time, and will be learning to cope with that and her newfound powers with the help of Hawkman and the rest of the Legends of Tomorrow team.
The series will also star Brandon Routh (Ray Palmer/The Atom), Caity Lotz (Sara Lance/White Canary), Wentwotrth Miller (Leonard Snart/Captain Cold), Dominic Purcell (Mick Rory, Heat Wave), Victor Garber (Martin Stein/Firestorm), and Franz Drameh (Jay Jackson). The team is brought together by Arrow (Stephen Amell), The Flash (Grant Gustin) and Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) to combat the immortal Vandal Savage and his army throughout time.
